About the event
A simple skirt can be made in just over 2 hours (expect a gathered skirt with an elastic waistband), or up to 6 or more hours (a tailored skirt with darts and a zipper as pictured), so you can feel free to bring the project in no matter what step you are on.
What to bring:
For this session, you can bring a sewing pattern for a skirt or use one of ours. Recommended to bring fabric the longer the skirt, the more fabric is required, but 3 yards is plenty. For short skirts, 1-1.5 yards is perfect. If you don't bring fabric, you can purchase some from us for $6/yard. Zippers $2 each.
About the instructor:
My name is Megan and I have been teaching sewing for over 3 years. Equipped with a love of sewing, a bachelor's degree in apparel design, and years of experience as a professional…
