softspoke is a sewing collective based in Los Angeles that specializes in clothing alterations and repairs.
softspoke was founded by Megan Bright in 2023 to provide tools and information for folks learning to make their own clothing. In 2024, the project grew into a collective of tailors and apparel engineers working to make custom-fit clothing more widely accessible.
We believe in slow fashion, and are dedicated to helping you preserve and elevate your wardrobe. Whether it's fixing a tear, adjusting a fit, or reviving a beloved piece, we are here to help.
